When we are in school all our dreams end with making it to a good college and a happening career and thats it. The happy ending. As we get into the college all that matters now is enjoy the life to the fullest, find a perfect love and yes, thats it. The other happy ending.
Well they say all’s well that ends well. I always thought a perfect job and a perfect love was all it takes for my story to fall into the category of happy endings. And she lived happily ever after.
But life doesn’t end there. Though I knew what I wanted , I never knew when was a deadline that I could stop and say ‘Yes this is it, and I am gonna live happily ever after’. Two years of the IT job has gotten me nowhere. And 24 years of relationships... ???
The other day a friend of mine came to me and said she had the best day ever in her life, and wished if time could stop there. This is the life she wanted. She had a first date with her new found crush. A movie , a dinner and some romantic talks had put her on cloud nine. Within three weeks from her so called happiest day her crush had already crashed.
Thinking of her, I could not help but wonder why do we always wait and hope for a happy ending? Why does the story always have to end happily? Its the happy moments in the story that count. The journey is far more vital than where we end up or where we think and hope we end up. This realisation made me think of all the blissful times of my life so far. To sum it up, my story has quite a lot of happiness repleted. All's well that is well :0) ..

When to stop?
I have always believed there is a silver lining in everything, either good or bad. Every time I lost a dream I made up my mind to fight back. I looked up again and thought I can do it.
But some dreams never come true. Some goals can never be shot. May be some things that you desperately want are never really meant for you.
If so then I cannot sit but wonder how do you know you are not in the right direction. When do you know that the goal you are striving to achive can never be realised. When do you know that you should stop? When do you know that its time to move beyond...
